7Speaking was proud to sponsor U-Spring the « Printemps des Universités d’Entreprises » held on 1 April 2026 in Paris. This flagship event, dedicated to learning and skills development professionals, made for a day of inspiring discussions, including a roundtable featuring our Chief Platform Officer, centred on a key challenge: how to structure the integration of AI into training programmes.
From experimentation to strategy: AI’s turning point in learning
One of the highlights of this year’s event was the participation of Benoît Praly, Chief Platform Officer at 7Speaking (Learnation), in a roundtable focused on a key question: how do you move from gimmicky AI experiments to a real, lasting learning strategy?
Joined by Bruno Lussato and Gilles Moyse, the discussion brought a shared observation to the fore: AI is already widely present in training programmes, but often in the form of isolated initiatives, with no clear link to an overall strategy.
Putting AI at the service of learning
For Benoît Praly, the challenge is clear: moving beyond one-off uses and embedding AI into a structured learning approach aligned with business objectives. This means setting a framework, defining performance indicators, and designing use cases that bring real value to learners such as conversation simulation or the development of written and spoken communication skills.
The discussions also highlighted the importance of maintaining a critical eye on AI: while it opens up significant possibilities, it cannot replace the trainer or the rigour of good pedagogy. AI needs to be embedded within a structured learning cycle, in the service of real skills acquisition.
Aligning innovation with long-term vision
Finally, the roundtable was a reminder of something essential for HR and learning professionals: successfully integrating AI is, above all, about aligning technological innovation, operational needs, and long-term vision.
U-Spring 2026 was a great opportunity to bring different views and practices together on a subject that is already shaping the future of learning!
Benoit Praly explores these questions further in his interview with B-Smart (French only).
