The maintenance of a substantial allocation of 100 million euros for the FNE-Training has just been confirmed by the National Assembly. This decision demonstrates the government’s commitment to actively supporting businesses in facing tomorrow’s major challenges, particularly in the digital and ecological domains.
Far from the 420 million euros mobilised during the health crisis, but ten times higher than pre-2020 budgets, this funding reflects a new strategic approach, adapted to contemporary challenges while maintaining its primary mission: supporting economic transformations.
Artificial intelligence and cyber defence at the forefront
While ecological and energy transitions, food and agricultural, digital and demographic transitions remain the essential pillars of the programme, there is a refocusing on the digital component. Emphasis is now placed on innovative projects requiring strong technical expertise, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence and cyber defence.
This ambition translates into a target of 130,000 training actions in 2025*, a volume identical to 2024, which allows for prioritising qualitative support for companies in adapting their employees’ skills.
Simplified access for businesses
To benefit from FNE-Training, the process is designed to be accessible. Companies can now mobilise the scheme for a wide variety of actions, ranging from skills assessments to certification training, not to mention VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience). The only requirement remains Qualiopi certification of the training organisation.
The modalities adapt to practical realities with training that can be delivered face-to-face, remotely, or directly in work situations. No minimum duration is imposed, thus offering flexibility that responds to the organisational constraints of businesses.
A particular point of attention for 2025: employees aged 55 and over benefit from priority access, reflecting the desire to support the employability of seniors.
Practical user guide
To maximise chances of obtaining funding, a company must:
- Contact its OPCO, the single entry point for the scheme
- Present a precise diagnosis of training needs
- Establish a training plan consistent with priority transitions
- Allow for a 4 to 6 week timeframe for application processing
