This CSR commitment addresses a fundamental need: enabling staff deployed across more than 60 countries to develop their language skills in regions where no local alternatives exist. Over the past 14 years, more than 2,000 licences have been provided for English, French, Spanish or Dutch, allowing employees to learn at their own pace from anywhere in the world.  <\/em><\/p><h2>A Linguistic Challenge at the Core of Their Mission<\/h2><p>Handicap International is a federation comprising 8 national associations, with approximately 4,000 staff members working in more than 60 countries. The organisation operates in French and English, two official languages that underpin all internal activities: the intranet, training courses, webinars, professional practice exchanges, and video conferences. Mastering these languages isn&#8217;t simply an asset; it&#8217;s a prerequisite for working effectively and progressing within the organisation. For many field staff, accessing quality training presents significant challenges: no local providers available, considerable logistical constraints, and tight budgets.   <\/p><h2>A Platform Highly Valued by Employees in the Field<\/h2><p>7Speaking is a cornerstone of the Handicap International Academy\u2019s digital learning catalogue. \u201cStaff who use it appreciate the variety of tools, media and topics available, enabling them to work on subjects directly relevant to their day-to-day work. The grammar lessons are particularly noteworthy,\u201d notes Delphine, Skills Development and Training Manager at Handicap International. What is most frequently highlighted in the feedback: the flexibility, learning at one&#8217;s own pace, without time or geographical constraints, from any work location.  <\/p><h2>A Strategic Collaboration for the Organization<\/h2><p>\u201cThis collaboration has been an integral part of our training policy since 2012. Despite financial constraints which may unfortunately intensify, it ensures universal access for everyone, worldwide,\u201d summarises Delphine Martin-Devaux.
